Looking for anyone that has replaced their Timken spindle bearings on a Burke-Millrite or Powermatic vertical mill. One of the guys in my metalworking club bought this machine, the bearings were noisy, he replaced them and had to press both of them off. ... Here's the Millrite manual, not sure if it's the same as yours, but is fairly accurate for my 1968 MVN. I'm away for the next few days, so can't check on mine, but since the screw us turning, it looks like the problem is likely in the leadscrew nut. The manual shows a setscrew, but I believe my mill has a cover over the lead screw nut.
